The Administration Services at the Dysart Hospital is seeking applications for a Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

  • Manage and coordinate activities of a range of non-clinical, administrative and operational functions to facilitate delivery of services and programs in accordance with objectives of the Dysart Health Service.
  • As part of the Dysart Health Service Local Management Committee, provide sound financial and business functions. To lead and manage activity, revenue, finance, procurement, data and other collection systems.
  • Undertake reporting as outlined in the various agreements and contracts for the Dysart Health Service.

About the Team

Dysart Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Dysart, approximately 250kms south-west from Mackay. A journey which takes approximately 2.5 hours. It is a 9-bed hospital servicing surrounding mining towns with a 24-hour emergency department and a steady flow of outpatients. The town has enthusiastic community spirit who all staff enjoy being a part of. Working in a rural facility provides an opportunity to widen your skill set and visit some unique places.
