About the Centre
This new centre in Numurkah opens in early 2026 at Numurkah Primary School. Run by Early Learning Victoria, a Victorian Government organisation, the centre will provide long day care and integrated kinder for 102 children aged 0-6.
The centre features:

• 5 age-specific rooms designed for learning and play
• Consulting room for child and family services, including maternal and child health and allied health
• Multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups

About Early Learning Victoria
Early Learning Victoria is rolling out 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. The centres will provide childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten, and Pre-Prep, creating a supportive, inclusive, and high-quality early childhood education environment.

As a staff member, you’ll join a new Victorian government early childhood workforce, with access to:

The Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher at ELV Numurkah, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0–6
• Support children’s learning and development using play-based approaches
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community
• Contribute to the centre’s high-quality standards in line with EYLF and NQS

Role Requirements

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
• Minimum 1 year full-time experience as an ECT (casual or educator roles do not count)
• VIT Registration
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and contemporary early childhood practices
• Strong communication, teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for early learning

Eligibility:

• Only candidates with valid full working rights in Australia will be considered
• Fixed-term visa holders may be eligible; bridging visa holders cannot
• International Police Check required if resided outside Australia for 12+ months in the last 10 years
