Early Learning Victoria (ELV) is a not-for-profit provider of high-quality early childhood education. Bani Walup (Murtoa) is a newly established government-run centre offering long day care and kinder for 57 children, built to support the needs of rural families in Victoria’s Wimmera region.

About the role
You’ll lead the centre’s operations, staffing, and strategy—delivering high-quality education programs and cultivating a positive, collaborative team culture. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll work with the Educational Leader to maintain compliance, drive service excellence, and build strong relationships with families and the wider community.

Duties

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team
• Oversee enrolments, staffing, budgets and compliance
• Collaborate on centre programs and pedagogy
• Build relationships with families and co-located services
• Champion centre values, culture and continuous improvement

Skills & experience

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
• Proven leadership in early childhood settings
• Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, Child Safe Standards
• Financial and admin experience in ECEC settings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
