The Opportunity
This newly created role is vital to maintaining our service quality and NDIS compliance standards. As our Learning & Development Coach, you will be the key driver in our staff’s professional growth and mandatory qualification management. You will work closely with the management team and support workers, taking ownership of the entire training and compliance lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Certification Management: Proactively monitor, track, and manage all employee mandatory and professional certifications (e.g., First Aid, NDIS Worker Screening, specific training modules).
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all support staff meet the necessary training and qualification requirements mandated by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and internal policies.
Training Coordination: Organize and book high-quality, relevant group training sessions (internal and external) for employees on an ongoing basis.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all training, qualifications, and compliance documentation using our learning management system (LMS) or HR software.
Induction Support: Assist with the L&D component of the new staff induction process, ensuring all starters complete required initial training.
What You Will Bring
Proven experience in a Learning & Development, Training Coordination, or Compliance role, preferably within the Disability, Aged Care, or Health sector.
Strong understanding of NDIS Worker Screening and Quality and Safeguards compliance requirements (highly regarded).
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in managing schedules and databases.
High proficiency in using record-keeping software (LMS or HRIS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
