About the company
Join a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne’s CBD, supporting education and learning of the organisation and its members. This 6-month contract role offers flexibility, a supportive team, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful learning outcomes in the healthcare sector.
This role is to start ASAP and is for initially for 6 months. It is a full-time position and offers flexible hybrid work arrangements, typically 1 day in the office.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Learning Management Administrator to support the development and maintenance of high-quality online learning experiences. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage the organisation’s LMS, collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors, and create engaging educational content for adult learners.
- Design and update online and blended learning content in line with modern educational practices.
- Administer the LMS, ensuring courses are current and technically functional.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve system issues and improve LMS integration.
- Develop engaging, interactive learning activities and assessments.
- Work with a graphic designer to produce high-quality digital assets aligned with branding guidelines.
- Provide technical support and ad hoc LMS training to staff and stakeholders.
- Manage LMS queries and assist with course access, reporting, and completion tracking.
- Build and test course shells ahead of launch and enrolments.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in instructional design, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience administering a Learning Management System (Moodle highly regarded).
- Proficiency with eLearning tools, particularly Articulate Storyline and Rise.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop (bonus).
