About the role

Exceed Laser Pty Ltd is seeking a CNC Machinist/Machinists to join our team in Richlands, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for setting, operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Machining Knowledge

Solid understanding of CNC machining practices and procedures.

Program and operate CNC machinery, lathes and/or milling machines.

Monitor machine operations to detect any issues and ensure optimal performance.

Experience with offline programming (Fusion 360 or One CNC) Training can be provided for the right candidate!

Precision Inspection & Quality Control

Use precise measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect components.

Verify that finished parts meet all technical specifications and tolerances.

Technical Interpretation

Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, and work instructions.

Workplace Organisation & Safety

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area in accordance with company standards.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and protocols.

Team Communication

Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and other departments as needed.

Report production progress, machine issues, or quality concerns promptly and clearly.

Support a positive and productive team environment.

What We're Looking For:

Relevant Trade Qualification

Certificate in Fitter and Turner, 1st Class Machinist, or a similar mechanical trade.

Strong Work Ethic

Self-motivated with a dedication to getting the job done efficiently and to a high standard.

Willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile.
