Casual Workshop Machinist – Engineering Shop (Sunshine Coast)

We’re looking for a skilled workshop machinist to join our small, friendly engineering team on a casual basis.

About the Role:
This position involves a variety of repair work and small-scale manufacturing tasks. You’ll be working on CNC Fanuc controls machines (lathes, mills, etc) to produce, modify, and repair components for a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual machining, fitting and turning

Manufacture small batches and one-off parts

Assist with general workshop duties as required

Work safely and maintain a clean, organised workspace

About You:

Experienced in manual machining (lathe, mill, etc.)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Able to interpret technical drawings

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Previous experience in a jobbing/repair workshop highly regarded
