📅 8 months contract - High possibility of extension
💰 $91.35 / hour + Super

We are working with a State Government Department seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join a dynamic infrastructure operations team. This role plays a vital part in supporting and maintaining ICT infrastructure that underpins the organisation’s core business operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and integrate server and network capabilities to support ICT infrastructure and business functions.
• Monitor, respond, and assist with operational and service desk requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution in line with SLAs.
• Initiate and implement operational change requests to improve server and network services and ensure business continuity.
• Analyse and manage incidents and problems related to server and network operations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including build guides, configuration details, user documentation, and reports.
• Provide input and recommendations on ICT infrastructure purchasing and procurement.
• Offer technical and non-technical advice to stakeholders to ensure ongoing ICT service delivery.
• Contribute to service level negotiations by providing relevant operational insights and reporting.

⭐ Requirements for this role:

• ITIL Service Management principles (experience with Jira advantageous)
• Microsoft Windows Server administration
• Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Domain environment support
• NTP, DHCP, and DNS
• Networking skills
• System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 (desirable)
• VMware Host and Virtual infrastructure support
• SQL Database understanding and support
• PowerShell scripting
