We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead and shape the future of Agricultural and Environmental Science at Oakbank School, connecting students to authentic, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for future industry pathways.

What you will do:
Develop and deliver engaging learning programs in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, and Environmental Studies, aligned with the school’s learning plan and vision.

Utilise the school’s extensive grounds and facilities to provide hands-on, practical learning experiences for students.

Promote sustainable land management and environmental practices across the school community.

Collaborate with staff, industry partners, and the wider community to enhance student learning opportunities and strengthen curriculum relevance.

Contribute to building student knowledge, dispositions, and capabilities to meet future industry and environmental challenges.

What you will bring:

A strong background in Agricultural Science and Horticulture, with a passion for environmental sustainability.

Proven experience teaching agricultural or environmental subjects in a school or industry-based setting.

The ability to inspire students through innovative, practical, and inquiry-based learning.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and community stakeholders.

Current registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA) and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

You will be supported by a dedicated team, including a full-time grounds person and a part-time farmhand.
