ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong and ambitious finance professional to step into a global leadership role with significant visibility. As Global Group Financial Controller, you will oversee consolidation, reporting, governance, and ASX compliance across nearly 20 entities, managing complex intercompany activity and multi-currency operations.

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a hands-on role in uplifting financial systems and processes, building stronger analytics and dashboards, and mentoring regional finance teams. The role blends technical rigour with business partnering and offers direct succession to CFO in a business with ambitious growth plans in international markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead consolidation, governance, and financial reporting across global operations
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting to the CFO, CEO, board, and ASX
• Oversee treasury, cashflow management, and intercompany transactions
• Manage external audits and compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across all regions
• Enhance systems, reporting, and analytics capability (NetSuite ERP in place)
• Mentor and develop finance teams across different time zones
• Partner with senior leaders on investment decisions and growth initiatives

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong Big 4 audit background
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments; ASX or listed exposure highly valued
• Strong technical accounting and governance skills, with hands-on consolidation experience
• Systems savvy, ideally with ERP (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel capability
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders across geographies
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and resilient leadership style
• Well-suited to either an experienced financial controller or a first mover out of Big 4 Audit seeking their first step into industry.
