With a strong pipeline of developer, architect, and in-house projects, this builder has carved out a specialised niche - becoming the go-to name in their market. As they continue to scale, they’re seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations and support their next phase of growth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and implement financial systems that scale with the business.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations.
• Deliver cashflow forecasting, budgeting & reporting to support strategic decisions.
• Create robust financial controls, dashboards and performance analysis across projects.
• Partner directly with the Managing Director and consultant CFO to shape financial strategy.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations (BAS, PAYG, super, etc).

What we’re looking for:

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion).
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role (similar sized company) and ideally has come from construction or project-based industries.
• Strong financial modelling, Excel, and reporting skills.
• Track record of building or improving financial systems from the ground up.
• A confident communicator who can translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Someone who is forward-thinking and proactive, with the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise.
• Construction industry software experience (Buildertrend or similar) is a bonus!
