This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate who is looking for a Senior Partner who will take them under their wing and on the path to Partnership.

There is an incredibly interesting mix of clients and work coming through this practice, including ASX listed companies in energy & resources, airlines, health and technology sectors, as well as household-name private Australian businesses, and family offices throughout SE Asia, US, China and Russia.

There are several Partners in the Corporate practice and a few ways this role could evolve depending on your preferences. The Partner driving this recruit handles the equity capital markets and debt capital markets transactions for the broader Corporate M&A practice, but the team operate in a pooled model. There are half a dozen Associates with experience across M&A and Cap Markets who assist you through the legwork on transactions.

The primary need is for someone who can take a leading role on IPOs, Secondary market raising, drafting prospectus docs and advising brokers on underwritings – however, if you have a broader practice across M&A, private equity or corporate advisory, this role can be moulded to give you a split across those areas as well.

Although based in Brisbane the work is very much coming from Sydney, Melbourne and overseas investors and business owners. There is no requirement to bring any relationships across with you, or onus on you to win work, as there is already more than enough pipeline and clients here, but we are ideally looking for someone who has the right personality for client-facing work and enthusiasm to step up to Partnership.
