Little Stars Shepparton is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team and help children shine brightly.

We wish to hear from interested passionate Early Childhood Teacher who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently and within a team environment.

This role requires:

· Preparing and setting up engaging learning environments, educational resources, and play materials.

· Leading, planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

· Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a genuine sense of belonging and trust.

· Guide children’s behaviour through patience, encouragement, and role modelling of positive interactions.

· Supervise and engage children during daily routines, indoor and outdoor play, and group experiences.

· Promote and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and wellbeing for all children in care.

· Communicate effectively with families and team members to ensure consistent, transparent, and supportive care.

Candidate Requirements:

· Relevant Early Education Teacher qualification

· Current Working with Children’s Check.

· Current First Aid, CPR Certificates.

· Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates

· 2 years’ experience working within an early childhood setting.

· Proven experience in the role.

· Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.

A demonstrated understanding of:

· National Quality Framework (NQF),

· Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),

· Child Protection & Safe Standards Training,

· Workplace Health & Safety issues,

· The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children,

· Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
