RISU Care is seeking Disability Support Workers in Airport West, Wollert, Whittlesea and Doreen. Experience in complex care and mental health is highly recommended.

🙌 Responsibilities:

- Provide person-centered support to the client in daily activities.

- Assist with personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.

- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and skill development.

- Document and report on client progress and any concerns.

🔑 Qualifications/Requirements:

- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (preferred).

- Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar caregiving role

- First Aid and CPR certification.

- NDIS Screening Clearance

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients

- Must speak fluent English

- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations

- Compassionate and patient approach to working with vulnerable individuals

- Ability to adapt to diverse client needs and preferences.

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
