About the role

Shortland Waters Golf Club is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing meals that delight our members and guests. This is a full-time position based in our clubhouse located in Shortland, NSW 2307.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality meals for our restaurant, and function menus

Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety

Menu development and implementing new Specials

Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and food handling regulations

Supervising and training staff

Stock control and ordering

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar role

Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating exceptional cuisine

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Creative flair and a commitment to continuous improvement

Availability for weekends
