Key Responsibilities

• Monitor hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-prem systems using tools like Zabbix, Graylog, and OSSIM
• Manage support requests via JIRA and ensure issues are resolved with root-cause clarity
• Conduct regular system backups and test restores for business continuity
• Drive infrastructure automation using ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure Blueprints
• Administer and maintain Java-based SaaS platforms and containerized .NET Core environments
• Identify and resolve infrastructure performance bottlenecks with proactive innovation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure system resilience
• Champion DevOps best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and configuration management
• Coach junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning and autonomy
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Minimum 5 years in enterprise SaaS infrastructure or cloud engineering roles
• Minimum 3 years of deep hands-on experience with Azure (essential)
• Familiarity with AWS environments (desirable but not essential)
• Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
• Experience managing both Microsoft (Service Fabric, MS SQL, AD) and Linux-based systems (LAMP, Puppet, Samba)
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferably self-hosted)
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and deployment tooling
• Experienced with CI/CD tooling such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, security patching, and compliance practices
• Azure or AWS certifications are a bonus
• Excellent communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
