The Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s core architecture and infrastructure by building systems that are scalable, reliable, and built for speed. You’ll work across the stack, own complex systems end-to-end, and help guide the technical direction of the platform.

You will:

• Work across the core platform in Go and the new features in Node.js - experience in either is okay but you’ll likely be working across both.
  
  

• Work with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and AWS to deliver secure, performant systems.
  
  
• Design and implement scalable systems and APIs, ensuring maintainability and observability.
  
  

• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence.
  
  

• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and developer experience.
  
  

• Champion engineering best practices in testing, monitoring, and automation.

About You

You thrive in environments where autonomy, ownership, and quality matter. You’ve scaled production systems on Kubernetes, have a deep understanding of AWS, and write clean, pragmatic code (Go or TypeScript ideal, but flexible). You’re collaborative, curious, and enjoy solving complex problems with smart, driven peers.
