Cadence Connect has been engaged exclusively by a well-established Managed Service Provider in the ICT space to recruit a Finance Manager for this newly created position. This is a rare opportunity to build structure, introduce innovation, and play a key role in the company’s next phase of growth.

About the role

Reporting directly to the business owner, you will take end-to-end responsibility for finance operations – from overseeing client billing and collections to managing an offshore accounts payable resource. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, as well as the chance to drive improvements through automation, process redesign, and the adoption of AI tools.
With most receivables handled via direct debit, you’ll also manage a small portfolio of more complex accounts, developing strong internal and external relationships to ensure smooth operations. You’ll partner closely with the owner on strategic initiatives, expansion plans, and potential M&A opportunities.
Key responsibilities

• Manage billing processes across subscriptions, projects, and contracts
• Oversee accounts receivable and maintain strong relationships with key clients
• Supervise and support an offshore accounts payable team member
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes, including AI solutions
• Liaise with external accountants and payroll providers for efficient operations
• Deliver financial reporting and insights across multiple entities and trusts

About you

• CPA/CA qualified (or close to completion) strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Xero and related apps
• Experience managing finance for multi-entity structures
• Background in subscription and project-based billing
• Track record of leading process improvements and implementing automation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
