The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across NSW. This role will suit a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of all technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of project delivery.

You’ll work closely with site teams, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while upholding Green Civil Australia’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of civil construction projects (bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements, utilities, structures, etc.)

Manage client relationships, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and alignment

Monitor project performance, cost control, and quality assurance in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards

Lead project programming, forecasting, and progress reporting

Administer contracts (AS4902, AS2124, etc.) including variations, EOTs, and progress claims

Drive safety culture and ensure environmental compliance across all activities

Mentor and support site teams, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project outcomes

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a project management capacity

Proven experience delivering projects in sectors such as industrial, data centres, subdivisions, or infrastructure

Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Proficiency with MS Project, Aconex, and construction management software
