The Role

As a Sales Business Development Manager, you will be a vital contributor the growth strategy, responsible for expanding the market presence and strengthening relationships within the building and construction sector across your defined territory.

Your role will involve not only selling products but also acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique project requirements, and recommending tailored solutions that add above everything else, value.

You will engage with a wide range of customers, from small builders to large construction firms, and work closely with the internal to ensure seamless service delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to leverage your sales expertise in a technical and fast-paced industry, with clear pathways for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, and industry professionals across NSW and your defined territory.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the customer base

Present and promote the range of building & construction products tailoring to your clients needs

Provide exceptional customer service and technical product advice

Manage sales processes from lead generation through to closing deals

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM systems

Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to business growth

Skills and Experience Required

· Proven commercial sales experience, preferably within building, construction, or related industries

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach

Ability to understand technical product information and convey it clearly to customers

Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is advantageous

Salary and Benefits

Base Salary – $90,000 - $105,000 + Super
