About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team in a hybrid role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both patient care and front desk responsibilities. You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with our dentists and practice manager to provide an excellent experience for our patients.

This role is suited to someone who is organised, approachable, and comfortable switching between chairside assisting and reception duties. Full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Assisting

Chairside assisting with general, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures

Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms

Supporting infection control standards and practice protocols

Providing patient comfort and care during appointments

Reception / Front Office

Greeting and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner

Managing appointments, recalls, and patient records (using dental software)

Handling phone calls, enquiries, and payments

Supporting smooth daily operations of the practice

Skills & Experience

Minimum 6 months of experience in dental reception and dental assisting

Confidently managing workflows in a busy practice

Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills

A proactive team player with leadership potential

Passion for people, growth, and continuous improvement
