Located in the beautiful Nelson Bay, 50 minutes from Newcastle.

We are a growing private practice with a good reputation and strong referral base.

We are looking for another psychologist with an interest in working with children and families, in the areas of assessment + diagnosis and/or intervention.

We have a lovely new office in Nelson Bay, with part-time employment or independent contractor roles available. Competitive renumeration will be discussed at interview and our team meets fortnightly for peer supervision.

We are looking for someone to join out team with an immediate start date or a planned start in 2026. We will make the calendars work for you if you are the right fit for our team!

Requirements:

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (or play therapy training and another professional registration eg. AMHSW, ECT, OT)

Eligibility for registration as a Medicare provider

Working With Children Check

Police Check

Strong work ethic and commitment to continued professional development

Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team environment

Ability to positively engage with children, adolescents, and families

Experience (or motivation to gain experience and knowledge) with a range of presentations such as ADHD, Autism, anxiety disorders, behavioural difficulties, mood disorders, and trauma.

Timely report and letter-writing skills

Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
