About the role

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at our Morie Candle Store in the following 2 locations:

Miranda Westfields

Penrith Westfields

As a Casual Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of our retail outlet. Candidates must be able to work at least 3 days in November and at least 5 days in December per week.

What you'll be doing

Providing outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering queries, and helping them find the products they need

Maintaining the store's visual appearance and merchandise by restocking shelves, tidying displays, and ensuring products are presented in an appealing way

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system

Adhering to store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant retail environment

Assisting with inventory management tasks, such as stock checks and ordering as required

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently

A friendly, positive, and professional demeanour

The ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
