Morisset Bakehouse is a locally loved bakery known for our delicious pies, fresh breads, and warm customer service. We take pride in our handmade products and welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Sales Assistant to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service

Take orders at the counter and operate the POS system

Serve food and drinks including coffee and cold beverages

Keep the front area clean, tidy, and well-stocked

Pack and present bakery products in a neat and appealing way

Assist with general cleaning tasks throughout the day

Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues politely

About You:

Friendly, approachable, and well-presented

Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Previous hospitality or retail experience is preferred but not essential

Barista skills are a bonus

Comfortable handling cash transactions and basic calculations

Must have the legal right to work in Australia

Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (training provided)

Availability:

You must be available to work across a range of shifts including early mornings, weekdays and weekends as required.
