We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team in both Front Reception and Housekeeping at our Tourist Park. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in providing a high standard of customer service to guests and residents of our Tourist Park as well as ensuring all of the Park accommodation and facilities are cleaned to the same high standard. Flexibility, reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team will be sought after attributes. The successful candidate will be self motivated and bring a commitment to high standards together with qualities such as flexibility and reliability.
Duties for Front Reception will include the following:-
· Greet guests at the reception counter in a friendly and courteous manner
· Attend to all phone calls and email enquiries, process and confirm bookings
· Process all bookings via RMS computer system
· Attend to shop sales and monitor stock inventory
· Liaising with cleaning staff regarding cabin servicing as required
· Liaising with maintenance staff regarding any maintenance issues reported by guests
· Cash receipting (including eftpos) and arrears follow ups
· Safeguarding of cash, keys, documents, information and assets
· Maintenance of office confidentiality and privacy
· Cash counting and balancing to banking summary
· Office commencement and closedown procedures
· General tidying, cleaning and maintaining the reception area and shop
· Reading power meters of long term residents
· Distribution of mail
· 9kg gas bottle refills
Housekeeping duties will include but not limited to cleaning the following areas:-
All tourist cabins following guest check outs
3 amenities blocks including laundries
Common areas of the Park including camp kitchens and bbq's
Large group accommodation and workers accommodation
Laundering of all linen
This position is an ongoing casual position with 1 day per week rostered at Front Reception (additional days may be required to cover annual leave or sick leave) and Housekeeping 3-4 days per week. It is a 7 day roster with weekend and public holidays required to be worked.
Additionally, there is a 1 bedroom house attached to the Office that will be available for rent if the successful applicant is seeking accommodation in addition to employment.
