Belair National Park Holiday Park is a family owned and managed Holiday Park 11km from Adelaide in the Southern Adelaide Hills. We are a small team looking for 1-2 hardworking and positive housekeeper / cleaner to join our staff to help us deliver the best possible experience for our guests.

We have 1-2 (flexible) positions available for housekeepers / cleaners and this position is ideally an on-going casual position.

Housekeeping / cleaning is required for 12 cabins, 5 cottages and 6 eco tents as needed.

Hours are shared within our housekeeping team and include weekday work (can be within school hours) as well as alternating weekend work. You must be willing to work a 7 day roster including public holidays, Christmas, Easter and school holidays. Average hours can be approx 4-5 hours daily with the opportunity to increase if desired. Cleaning requirements are given weekly in advance. Promotion to permanent part-time is available for the right person.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable applicants who work well in a team, in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is extremely important.

Daily tasks include:

The Role is of a physical nature and requires someone with a reasonable level of fitness.

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms including making beds, washing floors, detailing rooms, dusting and vacuuming to a superior standard

Replenishing all amenities

Communal amenities cleaning is available for a wiling and able applicant with a guaranteed 3 hours daily in this task

Communicating with guests to assist with any enquiries or housekeeping requests

Reporting maintenance issues to our maintenance people

Work as a team player passing on knowledge and skills where necessary

Keep cleaning / linen room tidy, organised and communicate low stock to office team

Adhere to workplace health and safety at all times.

Requirements:

A keen eye for detail, proactive and ability to work within a team

A general understanding of all areas within the housekeeping department

Flexible, reliable and able to meet challenges in a proficient manner

Be well presented taking pride in appearance

Have a positive and friendly attitude

Ability to work autonomously

Australian Drivers License.

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is essential.
