McCord Media (Shopa Local Pty Ltd) is a privately owned Australian advertising business that serves small to medium businesses throughout Australia and NZ with their advertising and marketing needs. Our head office is based in Cronulla, Sydney. We are looking for a part-time media coordinator to manage our growing client base. The role is evolving so we are looking for a candidate who is willing to start immediately part time/casual with the view to grow to full time from early 2026.
You will be able to work remotely, however, must be able to attend occasional meetings in person in Sydney as required. Reporting to the Managing Director you will have a positive can-do attitude reflective of the sales environment in which you work.
What you bring to the role:
You are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to liaise efficiently between our sales team and clients. You have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks, along with exceptional organisational skills and a consistent ability to meet deadlines. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset are essential for thriving in our team environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environment.
· Excellent time management.
· High-level verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency in administrative tools including Excel/spreadsheets, CRM.
· Experience dealing with B2B clients, beneficial non-essential.
· Administrative experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· To manage bookings and any sales/client queries efficiently, ensuring smooth booking processes and adherence to deadlines.
· Undertake a variety of administration tasks including reporting, post-campaign presentation development, research and analysis of media data.
· Attend client and media planning meetings in person if required.
· Monitor production timelines and address potential delays early, ensuring clear communication with internal teams and clients.
· Assist with sales team support as needed, including occasional phone answering.
· Coordinate with offshore teams effectively.
· Media execution, reconciliation, and reporting.
