We are a small, busy transport depot in Brisbane looking for a reliable and hands-on Depot Operations Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with one other team member, so being self-motivated and team-oriented is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Unload incoming linehaul vehicles

Load outbound semi and rigid trucks for local deliveries

Produce manifests and run sheets for local deliveries and onforwarding

Make and manage timeslots for outgoing freight, ensuring deadlines are met

Daily scanning and sending of PODs to Head Office

General housekeeping of depot and office areas

Requirements:

Valid forklift licence (essential)

Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment (essential)

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Strong organisational and time management skills

Basic computer skills for manifesting and POD scanning

Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Must be available to start at 4:00am every Monday
