- Full time maximum term position up to 2 years (part time considered)
- Salary range: $110,357 - $127,333 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role
This position will work closely with the Project Lead to deliver project key objectives including legal induction processes for new VLA lawyers, developing a structured program of continuing legal learning and support for VLA lawyers and extending access to VLA's legal training resources to panel practitioners and the broader legal assistance sector.
The Legal Learning Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting the delivery of engaging and practical learning content tailored to the needs of VLA lawyers. The role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts, project team members and stakeholders across the sector to ensure that content is educationally sound, accessible and aligned with best practice in adult learning.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as adult learning design or teaching, and/or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience designing learning programs for legal, government or community service professionals, and/or familiarity with the broader legal system.
- Legal background or knowledge and understanding of the legal sector is desired.
