Our team provides high quality horticultural maintenance service in a fast-paced environment for a network of Council streetscapes and open spaces including pathways, roundabouts, traffic islands, parks, and gardens and bio-retention systems.

Previous experience in soft scaping or commercial gardening is highly desirable.

Duties include weed management, hedging, pruning, brush cutting, rubbish removal and blowing down hard surfaces using brush cutters, a variety of hand tools and spray packs.

The ideal candidate will have an affinity for nature and the great outdoors and have a passion for gardening. You will need a positive mindset and great work ethic as this is a physically demanding role working outdoors. Reliable transport and a White Card are essential.

Relevant qualifications are desirable.

We work a 38 hour week from 6.30 am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and finishing at 12.30 on Fridays. An immediate start is available for the right person.

We provide an inclusive workplace, with uniforms provided, along with financial incentives for attendance, safety, and quality across the year, on top of a competitive wage. You must supply your own steel cap boots, but all other PPE is provided on the job, along with a professional and neat uniform.
