About the Role

Are you passionate about working outdoors and want flexible work that still offers variety and purpose? We’re seeking a Casual Garden Maintenance Crew Member to join our team at Durban Landscaping & Garden Maintenance.

This role is 2–3 days per week and ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, appreciates variety, and takes pride in presenting outdoor spaces at their best. You’ll rotate across some of most well-known locations from Brisbane down to the Gold Coast— shopping centres, schools, retirement villages, business parks and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lawn care – mowing, edging, brush cutting

Garden detailing – pruning, trimming, hedge shaping

General upkeep – weeding, watering, blowing paths, tidying

Landscape enhancement – mulching, planting, refreshing garden beds

Reporting – updating the operations team on completed work

Project support – assisting with seasonal and larger landscaping tasks

What We Offer

$33–$36/hour casual rate (incl. 25% loading) based on experience & qualifications

Superannuation paid into your nominated fund

What We’re Looking For

Garden maintenance experience (commercial or residential) – required

Valid driver’s licence & confidence towing a trailer – required

Strong operation skills with tools (ride-ons, blowers, hedge trimmers) – required

Reliability, punctuality & a great work ethic

Physically fit and ready for hands-on outdoor work

Willingness to provide/obtain a Police Check and a Blue Card
