The Role
As a Senior Food Technologist, you will take ownership of new product development initiatives, driving projects from concept through to launch. This role is highly practical and requires a solutions-focused professional who can balance creativity with technical precision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development of new and improved food products
• Conducting bench work, recipe formulation, and pilot plant trials using advanced facilities
• Managing customer presentations and sensory evaluations to showcase innovation
• Ensuring compliance with QA, HACCP, and food safety standards while optimising processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver commercially viable solutions

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Food Technologist within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, QA systems, and HACCP principles
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills
