This Federal Government agency is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Support Officer to assist in the delivery and continuous improvement of a grants-based program. Based in Canberra, this role offers the chance to work on high-visibility initiatives that support local communities abroad.
Your new role
As the Program Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and strategic communication of the program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing stakeholder engagement and communication to support program delivery.
- Providing training, guidance, and advice to internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Producing monthly reports and insights based on program data and performance metrics.
- Supporting the development and implementation of program improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Assisting with international outreach efforts by coordinating communications that showcase program outcomes, including the creation of case studies and visual content.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in program coordination, reporting, or grants administration.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce clear reports.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This role is only open to Australian citizens and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
