Your Role
As a Grounds and Maintenance Officer, your role will assist in the upkeep and maintenance requirements of the Village.
Your tasks will include:
Perform gardening duties including mowing of all lawns, and ensuring edges and hedges are trimmed appropriately.
Maintain the village grounds, interior, and building surrounds in a neat, clean, tidy and presentable condition.
Manage garbage disposal and maintain cleanliness of outside areas/pool areas.
Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of equipment.
Report on any hazards or security breaches to the Retirement Village Concierge.
Maintain the village's relevant equipment and supplies, and arrange replacement when necessary.
Perform driving duties of Ozcare vehicles including courier and delivery duties (as required).

Role Requirements
Current Police Screening Certificate
Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
Demonstrated relevant experience in undertaking gardening duties and the maintenance of the grounds
Ability to empathise with disadvantaged and/or older persons
Experience in stock management
Current Queensland Driver's Licence
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
Good computer and mobile device skills
If the service is co-located with any of our aged care facilities, the influenza and covid vaccinations will be required
