About the Role
As our Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring Companion Health meets all regulatory, accreditation, and quality requirements. You will oversee quality systems, conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits and manage compliance processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our services.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across all services.
Develop, implement, and review quality management systems and improvement plans.
Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with NDIS Practice Standards, ISO standards, and legislative requirements.
Support our staff and management teams with guidance on compliance, quality systems, and risk management.
Investigate and respond to client feedback, complaints, and incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain and update organisational policies and procedures in line with best practice -and current legislation.
Oversee systems and processes for privacy, record management, and data protection.
Provide reports, insights, and recommendations to management on quality and compliance performance.
About You
You are a motivated, solutions-focused professional with an eye for detail and a passion for quality improvement. You enjoy working collaboratively, influencing others positively, and supporting continuous learning across an organisation.
To be successful, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Risk Management, Auditing, Business, or a related field.
Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or risk management, ideally within the disability, community, or healthcare sectors.
Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
High ethical standards, professionalism, and attention to detail.
