About the Role

We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Operations Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth processes, efficient rostering, and strong support for staff and participants.

This is a varied role where you’ll split your time between administrative duties and rostering coordination, helping the organisation run effectively and ensuring participants receive consistent, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage for participant needs.

Manage rostering enquiries and respond promptly to staff requests.

Answer incoming phone calls and direct them as required.

Provide general administrative support to the operations team.

Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation.

Liaise with staff and management to resolve scheduling or operational issues.

Monitor and track staff clock-ins and clock-outs on ShiftCare, following up on discrepancies as needed.

Support the onboarding process by assisting with compliance checks and documentation.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in administration, rostering, or operations support (NDIS or community services sector experience highly regarded).

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident in using rostering systems/software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

A proactive team player with attention to detail.
