The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Officer on a 10-month maternity leave contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of finance, where you'll gain hands-on experience and grow your skills. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will learn the ropes and help keep things running smoothly. If you're excited about growing your career in finance, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Help with managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipting payments and following up on overdue payments.
Processing customer credit notes.
Assist in preparing simple financial reports related to accounts receivable.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
Provide support during audits by gathering and organizing required documents and reports.
Keep accurate records of transactions and related documents.
Ensure basic compliance with company policies and financial rules.
What we are looking for
Strong data entry and IT proficiency.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative in the workplace.
Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with Business Central is advantageous.
