Your daily responsibilities will include:
Managing patient bookings and clinic appointments (face-to-face and Telehealth)
Maintaining accurate patient records and referral documentation
Coordinating follow-up and cardiac testing appointments
Assisting with ECG clinics and fitting Holter monitors
Preparing and supporting cardiac testing sessions
Overseeing billing, banking, and Medicare claims
Managing multiple phone lines and responding to patient enquiries
Providing administrative and secretarial support to the cardiology team
Supporting day-to-day practice operations and compliance
About You
You’re an organised, compassionate professional who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident managing competing priorities with a calm, friendly approach.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
Previous experience in a medical administration or medical reception role
A strong understanding of Medicare, billing processes, and practice software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience in cardiology or specialist practice administration will be highly regarded but is not essential.
What We Offer
A permanent, full-time position in a supportive and professional environment
Office-based role in Perth with some opportunity to work from home
Comprehensive training and induction to help you succeed
A collaborative team culture that values quality care and innovation
