The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Organisational Development Team’s primary focus is to assist IUIH meet its strategic objective of growing and supporting a skilled and enabled workforce in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. With IUIH experiencing significant workforce growth over the decade the focus is on development, management and implementation of frameworks and programs to: increase Indigenous workforce participation, build required workforce capability through training and development opportunities, build workforce pathways, and create and nurture an innovative, inclusive, reflective and respectful environment built on Aboriginal Ways.
About the Role?
As the Administration Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Administrative Support Officers to deliver efficient and effective administrative services across the Organisational Development team.
You will collaborate closely with Organisational Development team leads to ensure administrative tasks and responsibilities are delivered to a high standard, while providing leadership, guidance, and direction to your team to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. Within this role, you will be required to:
- Lead, support and develop a high-performing administrative team, ensuring accountability and professional growth.
- Oversee day-to-day administration operations, ensuring efficient delivery of services aligned with organisational priorities.
- Coordinate and monitor Accredited and non-accredited training programs ,including scheduling, participation, progression and reporting.
- Manage administration systems, records and resources to ensure compliance, confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support contract management by collating data, preparing reports and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Provide quality compliance and continuous improvement support in line with RTO Standards and ASQA requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support onboarding, learning and program delivery.
About You?
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Clearence) – required prior to your commencement
- Certificate III in Business
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
- Demonstrated experience in using RTO systems
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team
