About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Acounts Payable Officer to work in our Geelong ciy office for an immediate start. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, supports cash flow management, and contributes to the smooth operation of the finance team in a fast paced industry. Open to pssible work from home arrangements that align with the team's requirements.

Experience required:

Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all documents meet Financial Delegations Authority.

Match invoices with purchase orders.

Knowledge of month-end processes and accounting principle reconciling creditor statements with accounting records.

Set up new suppliers in accounting softare programs.

Support other functions within the Finance team as required.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

All candidates must have:

3+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within a Finance team.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in the MS Office Suite and XERO accounting software

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

A confident work ethic with the ability to work independently.

High attention to detail, especially when managing high transaction volumes.

Must have the right to work in Australia
