About the Role - Immediate Start

Accounts Payable Officer is a busy role, fast paced responsible for accurate & timely processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations, working in a friendly and hardworking, loyal finance team. Liaise with external vendors across multiple regions to maintain efficient financial operations and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

This role best suits a candidate who loves Accounts Payable tasks, works efficiently/accurately in a fast-paced team & Co., remains positive, calm and wants FT office work, offering long term job security/stability with Weatherbeeta!

Core Duties:

Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and on time

Ensure proper coding of expenses in line with company policies

Handle multi-currency transactions and international payments

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and other teams to resolve invoice and payment issues

Prepare month-end accruals and reporting related to accounts payable

Assist with audit requests and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with internal controls and SOX compliance (if applicable)

Support process improvement initiatives within the AP function

Juggle duties while fielding enquiries

About You

Love working in a fast paced AP role specifically for large Retail/Wholesale business

Eye for detail and enjoys following processes

Organised and efficient individual

Natural aptitude for numerical work, mathematically minded

Maintains confidential and sensitive information

Knowledge MS NAVISION (accounting system) & Excel skills

Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and demands

Good communication skills

Grads/juniors with a relevant accounting, finance or administration qualifications and/or at least 1-2 years relevant AP work experience, will be considered.

Permanent resident, AU Citizen, full work rights

Own car/transport & Vic license to drive to office/works preferred
