About the role
The Chats program offers a variety of services to Tasmanian's, from group and individual social support through to allied health - social work and counselling services. There is something for everyone in the Chats program, it’s all about embracing life, every day.

Our fabulous new Chats Program Team Leader will be responsible for supervising a small regional team in the South, under the general direction of the Statewide Manager.
Key duties will include:
Day to day operational supervision of the Southern Chats team.
Undertaking service acquittal reporting and monthly financial acquittals.
Assist in the development and implementation of program procedures.
Provide comprehensive and detailed intake assessments for all potential participants.
Complete annual reviews with participants and their representatives.
Group and one-on-one administrative activities for support staff and volunteers.
Schedule participant activities and intakes on behalf of support staff.
Provide input into and approve monthly regional calendar of activities.
Commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse and neglect to all clients.
This full time position will be based in our Bellerive office.
About you
You will have a solid background in the aged care sector including experience leading a small team and the ability to be proactive and professional as well as plan and deliver on your accountabilities whilst remaining flexible under pressure.
While able to operate independently and autonomously where required, you are also an enthusiastic team player who works collaboratively to support the organisation and help achieve our strategic goals.
