An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated, customer focused individual to join our administration team. SHV Wholesalers is a leading wholesale supplier of fresh produce and gourmet groceries to the hospitality and retail industries.

To be successful in this role it is critical that you are a professional, experienced and accomplished accounts receivable officer and that you thrive in a team environment.

A crucial part of this role is ensuring our debtors remain within their terms. Your other responsibilities are, but are not limited to, customer service including communicating with customers on the phone, competent computer use, and processing customer invoices and payments.

A minimum of 4 years in the same role and bookkeeping experience is essential. It would be advantageous if you have worked in the fresh produce industry.

Reporting to the SHV Manager and the Accounting Team Manager, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Competent debtor management
• Excellent customer service
• Competent level of bookkeeping
• A good phone manner
• Excellent communication and listening skills to ensure accurate order taking.
