Happy Learners Therapy Services has been a trusted provider of occupational therapy for over 11 years on Brisbane's Southside. Our team delivers high-quality paediatric therapy to children and their families from a fun, well-established clinic in Springwood. We are a NDIS-registered provider, committed to enhancing children’s engagement in their everyday lives.

Our mission is to help children and young people access and participate fully in their occupations and daily activities. Through play-based and meaningful engagement, we support development, build essential skills, foster independence, and empower families. We provide both clinic-based and community services.

What You Can Expect From Our Team:

Graduate Program:

Planned and intentional shadowing & training sessions with senior OTs.

Weekly supervision with clear learning goals and support from an experienced OT.

Graded introduction to your caseload over 3-4 months with early weeks being training focused.

Dedicated graduate workshops covering core paediatric OT skills, documentation, and NDIS knowledge.

Support & Connection:

Daily team connection and support (shared team office allows for regular collaboration & support).

Quarterly paid team days- where we create space to learn, connect, create, align and have fun.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and young people (ages 2–17) with a wide range of developmental delays and disabilities, including (but not limited to) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, sensory processing challenges, and learning difficulties.

Collaborate with families to develop child- and family-centred goals that are meaningful, achievable, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths, interests, and needs.

Deliver assessments, consultations, and individualised therapy programs in both clinic and community settings, focusing on key areas such as fine motor development, self-regulation, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.

Maintain strong communication and collaboration with parents, teachers, and other allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach that supports the child across all environments (home, school, and community).

Engage in continuous professional development, including team collaboration, regular supervision, and participation in in-house learning to maintain best practices aligned with NDIS standards and current research.
