Boddington is one of the largest gold producers in Australia and offers a unique opportunity to live and work in the Southwest. Only 130 kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast, our employees can also choose to DIDO with accommodation provided in our Village for the duration of your roster.

This newly created role is site based and is offered as a 5/2 4/3 roster working an 80 hr fortnight, with every second Friday as your DDO, and public holidays off.

The Asset Management Engineering and Planning function ensure teams safely achieve availability, reliability and cost targets through the delivery of effective maintenance plans and schedules.

In this role, you will implement, audit, and maintain long-term strategies and maintenance plans in SAP/AMT as well as cost models and budgets using analysis insights, site findings, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) updates.

Drawing on your expertise you will prepare and review long-term asset strategies and budgets for mobile equipment at Boddington Gold Mine. This will include implementing and initiating strategy development and optimization processes, conducting timely updates and improvement of equipment strategies based on site findings, OEM updates, and ensuring timely communication to relevant personnel.

Knowledge:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience and understanding highly desirable.

Strong understanding of asset strategies and budget creation.

Experience with both asset management and operations is preferred.

Experience with manual and computerized maintenance planning systems.

Understanding of change, communication and knowledge management methodologies.

Experience developing and implementing asset strategies that improve Asset Management performance, reliability and safety, reducing operating costs and improving return on assets.

Experience with master data management and governance.

Experience with budget and business plan preparation.

Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated strong social skills and ability to drive performance improvement initiatives

Ability to quickly assess information to diagnose problems and opportunities

Ability to work collaboratively in a hard-working, multi-disciplined, diverse team

Proven strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to optimally prioritize jobs in order of importance
