Representing a leading gold mining client, we're looking for a technically proficient and safety-focused Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner with extensive fixed plant experience and a solid understanding of Pronto-based planning systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain weekly maintenance plans, shutdown schedules, and work packs for fixed plant equipment.
• Use Pronto to raise work orders, manage backlog, and schedule preventative and corrective tasks.
• Work closely with maintenance, processing, and procurement teams to ensure material and labour availability.
• Conduct equipment inspections, hazard identification, and assist with root cause analysis and incident investigation.
• Lead and promote a high-performing safety culture, contributing to continuous improvement in planning systems and asset reliability.

Qualifications:

• WA Manual Driver's Licence
• Mechanical, Electrical or Metal Workers Trade Certificate
• Strong knowledge of fitting, electrical and welding practices
• Understanding of light vehicle and mobile equipment maintenance
• Frontline Management qualifications (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team of tradespeople

Experience Required:

• 5+ years in processing plant maintenance, with exposure to SAG/ball mills, cone crushers, conveyors, gearboxes, and slurry pumps
• 2+ years in a maintenance planning role, ideally within a gold or mineral processing plant
• Hands-on experience with Pronto or similar CMMS systems
• Exposure to supply chain functions, stock control, and planning coordination
• Practical experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• Gold processing plant experience
• Supervisory or team leadership background
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, Mines Act & Regulations
