The Opportunity
Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) is seeking a Community Liaison Officer to join our Governance and Quality Assurance team. This role supports Catholic School Parents South Australia (CSPSA) and Communications and Marketing Team through high-quality administration, project coordination, and community engagement. You will play a key part in building strong relationships with families, carers, schools, and community partners, ensuring their voices are heard and reflected in initiatives that make a positive impact across our education system.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain meaningful connections with families, carers, schools, and community groups.
Support the delivery of parent engagement forums, meetings, and events.
Provide high-level administrative support including scheduling, financial processing, and reporting.
Coordinate communications, marketing initiatives, and social media updates to strengthen community reach on behalf of CSPSA and the Communications and Marketing team.
Represent CSPSA at events, forums, and working groups, often independently.
About You
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and engagement across diverse communities.
High organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in administration, project coordination, or community services, supported by relevant qualifications (Certificate III/IV or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with basic knowledge of design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Canva.
A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
