We operate a Hayes QC-300 Purlin Mill which The Purlin Mill manufactures 34 variable section sizes plus a variety of specialised profiles out of Galvaspan® Steel.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Machine setup and profile changes

Interpreting drawings and manufacturing goods

Operating purlin mills

General housekeeping activities

Participation in tool box and team meetings

Training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment

Overhead Travelling Crane and Forklift license would be highly regarded or ability to undertake further training to acquire those skills. Other skills and attributes include:

A commitment to producing quality products

Good understanding of machine set-ups/die changing

Quality control focus

Excellent communication skills

Ability to interpret product drawings

Ability to work in a team environment

Basic computer skills
