Makibe Australia is currently looking for a Trade Qualified Machine Operator with a background in metal fabrication to join a small niche specialized team in Wetherill Park.

This role is a casual role view to permanency.

Dayshift (from 7am)- 38hour week, must be flexible with start and finish times

$50 - $60 per hour casual, depending on qualifications & experience

Essential -

Trade Qualified, in the metal manufacturing industry

experience in operating an aluminium plate saw or other types of metal cutting machinery.

Experience working with sheet metal

Previous machine operation experience required

forklift experience

Ability to supervise staff

Mechanically minded with WHS experience around machinery

To be successful:

you will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a metal manufacturing industry

must be able to set up and operate machinery for maximum efficiency

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Reliability with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
