About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team at Evia Yoghurt Co. Pty Ltd' in Marrickville with a move to state of the art facility at Pemulwuy in the next few months. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production machinery. This is a full-time position, offering excellent opportunities for growth and development within our rapidly expanding company.

What you'll be doing

Operating packing machinery such as filling lines and automatic cartoners

Follow production schedule accurately

Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to machine operations

Cleaning and sanitizing

Assist with the training and supervision of junior team members, as required

What we're looking for

1-2 years of experience as a machine Operator or similar role in a food manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Full working rights in Australia

Ability to lift 15kg intermediately and stand for extended periods

Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles
